For the second half of 2022, we intend to cut back significantly on brand & marketing expenses due to the current market environment.
We’ve executed a number of educational moments + events during the 1st half of 2022 that helped increase the awareness of Cryptex and TCAP. While we have significantly reduced this budget for 2nd half of 2022 we still want to partake in activities that grow awareness and build community.
- Advertorial Education (Like The Block, Blockworks, The Defiant, StockTwits, Raging Bull, Coinsnacks and others)
- Display Education (Like The Defiant, Brave Browser, CoinGecko and others)
- People Education (Like Kris Kay, Route2fi, Top 10 Joe and others)
- Other Education (Any new opportunities that may arise throughout Q1&Q2)
Events are an incredible opportunity for our team and community members to speak and help educate audiences that are eager to learn. We also want to experiment with Hackathon’s to engage with developers and find top tier talent. W want Cryptex to be positioned as leaders within the crypto community.

Maximum budget for education & events: 60,000 USDC for the Second Half of 2022
Maximum budget for monthly subscriptions: 6,000 USDC for the Second Half of 2022
We’d like to budget a maximum of 15,000 USDC for the Second Half of 2022 for one-off opportunities or expenses that might arise.
For the second half of 2022 (July 1st, 2022 - December 31st, 2022) we intend to allocate this brand and marketing budget for:
- Education & Events (60,000 USDC)
- Monthly Subscriptions (6,000 USDC)
- Miscellaneous (15,000 USDC)

For the second half of 2022, we want to continue to protect the DAO, our community, and the core teams that work relentlessly every day building and positioning Cryptex. For this, we propose continued funding for a General Legal Counsel, an advising Blockchain Attorney and DAO accounting. Core Team Health Insurance is still carried over from the First Half 2022 budget, no new capital is needed.
General Counsel will handle all aspects of legal/business operations not related to the core teams day to day development business.
Areas include advising our General Counsel on blockchain law, performing legal analysis, and written legal opinions on CTX, TCAP, and future Cryptex decentralized solutions, alongside representing the DAO on an as-needed basis.
Onboarding Certified Public Accountants with expertise specifically relevant to blockchain to handle all tax matters related to the DAO and its core team.
AWS fees, transaction fees and any other operating expenses related to dev.
Funding for Part 1 full time and part time contributions and Part 2 brand & marketing budgets + operations budgets will come from existing ETH, USDC and USD, along with the sale of 78,000 CTX.
Full Time Contributors: Maximum 120,000 USDC per month (720,000 USDC for 2H)
Part Time Contributors: Maximum 10,000 USDC per month (60,000 USDC for 2H)
Brand + Marketing Budget: Maximum 13,500 USDC per month (81,000 USDC for 2H)
Operations Budget: Maximum 28,000 USDC per month (170,000 USDC for 2H)
